Singer, songwriter, and guitarist, born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was founding member of the folk-rock band Buffalo Springfield (1966--8) in Los Angeles, CA, worked with the groups Crazy Horse and Crosby, Stills and Nash (1969--74), then pursued a solo career. Much influenced by Bob Dylan, he has released over 20 albums, including Harvest (1972), Reactor (1981), and Freedom (1989).
Being one of Linda's top three favourite song writers immediatley puts Neil on the list of people Paul should do a duet with. Also, he and Paul would be an interesing match. Most of Neil's stuff is very heavy and deep lyically. Paul might help to lighten that up or they might come up with a great "made you think" song. Either way.
