Singer, songwriter. Born October 13, 1941, in Newark, New Jersey. The son of Louis, a musician and teacher, and Belle, a school teacher, Simon grew up in the Forest Hills area of Queens, New York. Despite his popularity during adolescence and an aptitude for sports, he isolated himself with an acoustic guitar, intent on making a career in pop music.
Paul and Paul have done duets, on SNL, as has Paul with George Harrison. Paul and Paul sound good together.
